With over a century of history, Fujita is a leading general contractor known for its strength in urban development. For this project, I directed and edited two recruitment films: a concept film and a day-in-the-life documentary featuring employees. I centered the films around the recruitment slogan “さぁ、築こう。(Let’s Build)”, aiming to resonate with proactive students who envision shaping new cities and futures together with Fujita.

I interviewed three employees from different roles across three locations. Alongside capturing their real working scenes, we filmed sequences of them assembling building blocks, symbolizing how diverse elements—people, ideas, and efforts—come together to create new communities and shape the future. In the interview segments, each employee shared their dreams and goals they aspire to achieve at Fujita, highlighting the grand ambitions and societal contributions made possible by the company's scale. In addition, for the day-in-the-life documentary, I focused on one employee who serves as a role model for potential recruits. The film captures his realistic work day on a construction site, emphasizing his personable character and the vibrant, engaging way they contribute to their team. The completed films have been featured on a large monitor at Shinjuku Station since March 2025.
